May I Have this dance?

The silver-haired man sweat-drop, as he unceremoniously put his Icha-Icha book away into his back pocket. "Ummmm..." He swept his bangs with his hand, to cover up his wire when he spoke lowly. "No, I haven't."

For a moment, there was silence. Then, Sasuke's voice stated through a, "You were reading your porn novel again, weren't you?" 

"No, I wasn't." Kakashi answered back, equally neutral. 

There was some annoying squealing noise in the background, but the man heard the Uchiha gritted out, "Yes, you did. I saw you pulling it out a few minutes ago."

Sakura's voice broke through. "Kakashi Hatake," she sounded positively murderous, "I know you're a freaking genius and all, but if we fail this mission, I'm going to personally rip your fucking-"

Kakashi quickly swept back some hair, when a particularly chilling wind blew, and thankfully, he didn't heard the last part about 'rip your fucking something... That woman seriously needed to chill out, sometimes. Though, he guessed that Tsunade wasn't really a happy-go lucky mentor to her.

That's when he noticed a hand that was held out for him.

"May I have this dance?" One black-haired Menma Uzumaki Namikaze asked coolly, calm and composed, his dark blue eyes glittering in the light.

For a moment, Kakashi could only stared at him in shock. Then he squawked out an undignified "N-Namikaze-san?!" The target has just appeared right in front of him, asking for a dance, and all he could do was gawk like a little school girl?! Seriously, his stock market must have dropped...

The Haruno's yelling through the wire wasn't helping one bit either. "Ah, the target has already appeared!"

Sasuke cursed lowly, while keeping a low profile as he watched the scene. 

Naruto was still quiet on his end.

Okay, okay. Let me tell you all this, I am, as I discovered, the type that cannot held interest for so long. So, that's why, I have trouble updating all of my works. So, one moment I was thinking about one thing, and then I was thinking about the other thing. 

Damn plot bunnies.

So, anyway, in this one-shot page, Kakashi and co are detectives. This time, they have to solve the mystery of a series of kidnapping and murder that have been going on for about a while. Their evidences lead up to one suspect however, Menma, Naruto's twin brother.

Naruto and Menma are literally best friends, so that's why he was so reluctant in this case. Naruto became a detective, following Minato's footsteps, who is the Chief, while Menma followed Kushina's, and became a successful businessman.
